Pheromone Dosage and Mixing Questions
09-26-2015 11:12 AM

So I've been mixing a lot of individual pheromones, and this is complicated because I get them from different vendors, and they're in different mediums. If anyone could answer any of these questions or refer me to a place I could find the answer, I'd appreciate it.

How many sprays are in a 10 mL bottle of PXS product? I think it's ~80.

But more importantly, how many sprays are in a 30 mL bottle of Androtics product? I feel like the sprays are much bigger. Does that mean that the potency per spray is bigger than what is advertised on the bottle, or is the potency calibrated to the increased spray volume of the 30 mL so that a spray of 30 mL is equal to a spray of 10 mL?

I've been mixing these two together:

1 mL androsterone at 12.5 mcg/spray in a 10 mL PXS bottle

and

1 mL various putatives in 30 mL Androtics bottles.

...and I think I've been overdosing on Androsterone. Would this mix create 50/50 androsterone and putative in each spray, or would it contain proportionately more androsterone because the putatives are calibrated for bigger sprays?

Questions abound, any help would be appreciated.

80 sprays in a standard 10mL bottle. The 30mL bottles pump out a larger volume, so about 200 sprays there. The doses are measured on a per-spray basis, so you're getting what it says you're getting.

This should allow you to do the math.
