We have a great resource here that could do a lot of things:

1. Cut down on newbie threads and be a great resource for them as they get started

2. Be a dictionary or glossary of abbreviations that could be consistently updated

3. Give explanations of single molecules or common effects from mixes.

4. Encourage custom mixes by users by providing necessary knowledge on single molecules.

But I don't seem to be able to edit it. Can we start this up again?

The problem I foresee is false or misleading information being put up there, but it can evolve with time and effort.

Strange, it seems somewhere along the way something messed up. I'll have to look into it, because although it was far from being complete there was a lot of information listed.

Yeah I thought I heard something about that, but I forget what happened. Some people were talking about how it got messed up and if anyone saved the information, I think.

In the meantime, Phertests website is a good resource for newbies to read-up on mone-effects. Sure the descriptions are sort of a "best of" of reported effects but I'd guess very good to intrigue people to further delve into the phero-realm - and we all, community and vendors will benefit from that in the long-run.

The site makes money from affiliations with vendors. It is not necessarily a conflict of interest but I feel that all the products are hyped to heaven to generate more sales. Pheromone newbies will likely be discouraged when the product doesn't work as easily and miraculously as described there. It's missing many vendors as well.

On a positive note, it does have a very useful summary of all the molecules and the noteworthy putatives and its effects. I have it saved in my personal notepad.
