Hoping someone can help with this:

Now it's accepted knowledge that skin flora can break down many commercial pheromone preparations.

With AV's roll-on, it not a good thing for the roll-on to touch the skin? Isn't the skin bacteria just being 'rolled over' into the inside of the bottle eventually, carrying the bacteria with it?
