Thanks for the link. I love my r-enantiomer nootropic but a good advice is to repurpose and cycle...boredom and tolerance is the devil you don't want.

The only nootropic that I felt that worked for me is Piracetam. Made me appreciate music even more, but also made me a tad bit irritable. They say tolerance can build so I decided to stop for now.

Tried Pramiracetam and Noopept but didn't get much out of those two.

If only NZT was really out there, man that would be fantastic.

Tried Alpha Brain from Onnit, and found some initial success, but later experienced zero results after the new formulation.

Phenibut is very impressive, but highly addictive with nasty withdrawal symptoms.

Modafinil is like an extended dose of low level Adderall.

Everything I've tried pales in comparison to NA Semax Amidate save ORMUS and Curcumin, though even those are limited in their own way. I'm no longer convinced ORMUS can displace Curcumin. I was mistaken when I believed all of the properties of Curcumin were common to ORMUS, though a great many of them are.

Nascent Iodine is another excellent nootropic, as is low-dose Methylene Blue.

I didn't know curcumin was a nootropic. How do you take it? Is it a special extract? Does it have black pepper?

I take it in the form of BCM-95 Curcumin (LEF), but I use Capsaicin instead of black pepper to enhance bioavailability. Next time I'll go for the Doctor's Best version which includes both BCM-95 Curcumin and Piperine.

Yes, Curcumin is one of the best nootropics you can used. It deserves a lot more credit than it gets. I've seen multiple stacks where certain effects are attributed to other components while Curcumin, the real catalyst, isn't even mentioned. It's often assumed not to be a nootropic at all.

I like curcumin as well, it has very grounding effects on my psyche, helps too hold an even keel even in very stressful, busy days. I pop a pill of curcumin now and then but most of the times I take 1-2g of Turmeric, cover it in olive or grapeseedoil, add black pepper and fill it up with tomatoe or vegetable juice. Granted, it's not the most pleasant taste but tolerable.
Lately I've begun to a the occasional drop of Turmeric essential oil into the mix due to my explorations in the field of aromatherapy and esp. this product/website:

Only the Longvida curcumin passes the blood brain barrier (BBB). Just FYI.

That's fortunate, both chilli and turmeric are essential parts of home cooking for my ethnicity.
