New study about Oxytocin and brain plasticity

Found this interesting recent article here (it also has a link to the original study published on 14.11.2022)

Basically, it claims Oxytocin helps form new neural connections in the brain.

Here's a quote: "The most exciting aspect of this study is that our findings suggest that oxytocin drives development and synaptic integration of new neurons within the adult brain, directly contributing to adaptability and circuit plasticity," said first author Brandon T. Pekarek, a graduate student—research assistant in the Arenkiel lab.

So that's pretty cool that you can make your brain more plastic and learn more stuff. I guess that's probably why this is present in some imprinting products
