I've never heard of contaminating New Pheromone Additive... In any event I'd definitely use a coverscent because some people thinks that it stinks a little. I heard people refer to it as 3 types of smell: Ass, Wet Dog, and Last but not least.... Homeless Person on a Hot August Day! ;)

The alcohol in New Pheromone Additive destroys the bacteria on your fingertips anyway.
