That one line in itself tells me to disregard the whole article completely. That it's coming from the Mayo Clinic is another factor.

Otherwise, who would buy pharmaceuticals which cost huge sums of money and are the leading cause of many unwanted side effects which in turn require more pharmaceuticals?

The FDA ran a failed campaign back in the 90's to ban colloidal silver (). I wonder why....

Colloidal silver is not the be-all-end-all-cure-all. It was and still is used as a great antibiotic to fight bacterial infections. Viral infections on the other hand need something else.

My local store was selling 3 brands. Each brand was selling different ppm: 5,10,15.
I bought the 10ppm for 2 reasons: 1) It was the brand Sovereign Silver (it's this one exactly 2) the 15ppm which I was going to buy states in the label that it's for external, topical use.

Not sure why it was stating for external use even though it's liquid and the ingredients seem to be the same. So I went for the one I linked above (which is also the 10ppm you recommended).

The directions say to spray 20 times under the tongue and to keep it for 30 seconds before swallowing; but that only gives 20mcg. The Sovereign Silver that you have linked is 50mcg. So I consumed 30 sprays. I didn't want to go higher since it's my first time consuming it. I also applied with a Q-tip on my pimple; although it's only 10ppm on a pimple , compared to 500ppm.

If I see results, I will buy the topical one (500ppm) from iherb. I live in Canada so shipping isn't as fast as USA. I still didn't receive my last week's order (I chose the cheapest shipping).

I will let you know with updates. Thanks again for suggesting this!

I had an infected tooth one time and no moola to remedy the situation, so I bought a large bottle of collodial silver and drank the entire bottle that night. Next morning the pain was gone. I was skeptical but the stuff does work.

You'll be fine, don't worry. I was advised to keep under tongue for 3 mins instead of just 1 min, and then swallow.

I also tried topical application to my groin using a cotton square. Partially soaked it and wiped on, but I found dripping 2 droppers full into my palm and wiping on the palmful was better. Only did one topical application though.

I know for a fact that it's working because the pimples healed fully, and another one which remained partially raised for the past 2 months has fully flattened now. No other change in diet or lifestyle was adopted before starting to consume colloidal silver.

Interestingly enough, do you know what computer modders used to put in their liquid reservoirs? A sliver of silver. Because it is antimicrobial and stops the buildup of algae in liquid-cooled systems. See .

Would be interesting to hear from someone knowledgeable about the similarities between algae and bacteria.

Thanks for the heads-up RWolf! Next purchase from iHerb will include a bottle of echinacea & goldenseal tincture.

I'm still in two minds about the adrenal glandular, since they are made from animal parts and I'm trying to keep to the vegetarian lifestyle. What would be a good substitute for this? edit: how about ?

Buying health supplements (and many other things) in my country is akin to taking down one's pants, bending over and being willingly raped up the drainpipe. Prices can be a good 5-10 times more. And the variety isn't as wide as iHerb's.

So yesterday evening I felt a very slight sensation of discomfort at my beltline. Inspection of the area revealed the teeniest-tiniest nubbin of a pimple forming.

Took my 2nd oral dose at 6pm. Then tried to drip a drop directly onto the pimple. That worked... for all of 10 seconds. However, when the drop had dripped directly onto the pimple, I started feeling a tingling sensation on my skin. Too bad the drop rolled away. Dripped another drop and spread it around with my finger. A little more tingling was felt.

After dinner, an idea. Took a cotton square, the type used to remove makeup, folded it twice and soaked it with 2 droppers-full of colloidal silver. Put that against my pimple, held in place by the garter of my boxer shorts, and left it there for 20 mins. More tingling. Took a 3rd oral dose before going to bed.

Now, 7 hours later, that little nubbin is gone.

Is there any way to prepare a salve using liquid colloidal silver at home or am I SOL on that idea? Silver in colloidal paste form would be far easier to apply than a liquid colloid methinks. Edit: that may work

Oil of oregano is a powerful topical you may try. Sounds like u may need to order from the US to avoid the raping

Looks like a good complement to silver salve AND colloidal silver, nice! Always good to have options.

Yeah RWolf, that's why I look toward Amazon and iHerb for my shopping/herbal needs. Shipping's cheap n quick too (iHerb that is, Amazon could be better with schedules but not bad overall...)

I'll also look into StressCare as a vegetarian adrenal glandular supplement.
