On a side note though, I dont believe that song was about her for a minute and from what I have read over the years she didnt either. I remember reading that to her it made no sense and didnt connect with her at all. Personally I dont think it was about LSD either I think it was about a trip he took while on LSD. There are a few songs he wrote that make absolutely no sense. Must of been some trip. LOL

Actually, it was about a that Julian, John's son drew about her. He came home and said "look daddy, it's Lucy in the sky with diamonds".

I thought you meant our most famous human ancestor, the 3.2-million-year-old Australopithecus afarensis named "Lucy." Funny, now that I googled her, it appears researchers named her Lucy after "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds." So everything in life appears to be connected. Bet Lucy had some nasty mones on her hairy hide...
