Hi guys,

My basic mainstream fragrance is YSL La nuit de l'homme electrique (the normal La nuit de l'homme is too woody/strong to me)

I recently received a sample of L&S without mones from Alpha Dream, and I must say I quite enjoy the smell, it reminds me of good times with friends.

Problem is, apparently AD doesn't sell the fragrances without the mones and I don't want to wear mones every day either, just like I don't wear a fragrance if I am just going for a workout.

So, my question to you guys is how do I replicate L&S ? Anything similar in mainstream fragrances?

I looked up the description of L&S on their site, but I know it isn't as simple as "a dash of vanilla, a dash of this a dash of that...", so any ideas, short of spectral analysis would be welcome.

I've wondered the same. Mones tend to stand out on my skin, so even scented ones require a little extra cover, and None lasts a while so being able to refresh would be nice. I sent an email to AD asking if they'd consider an option to buy a phero free bottle of just fragrance for that very purpose but it's been a week and I have yet to get a reply back.

About four years ago, I identified Leather & Steel as being "almost exactly like" Sexual Steel Pour Homme by Michel Germain. I think I actually had a bottle or had just finished a bottle of Sexual Steel Pour Homme at the time. See below:

Now that is some interesting info, the color from what I can tell from photos is also the same... hmmm pity it seems it is out of stock in europe (apparently)

Have you tried Amazon...Alibaba?

michelgermain.com ships to Europe...

I know but my last order from the US (AM from AD) ended up costing me about 140 USD between the product, shipping and import......So now I avoid ordering from the US.....

Alibaba is based in China

Germain is based in Canada

I think that amazon has EU distribution centers ()

Some perfume specialty stores may stock it but they may not have an online presence.

Here in the US we have Perfumania and they stock many fragrances...most of which are a few years old.

Thundr always said VIP 212 was a great cover for L&S so its worth looking to see if they are similar.

Just purchased a sample of this, and it smells nothing like Leather and Steel from AD.

Sample bottle looks legit (identical to smallest bottle in this photo).
