I don't know many men who can discuss sexual topics with a woman, or in a mixed audience. Most seem to be afraid they will say something wrong, which helps explain Eddie's nervous laughter/giggles. A woman who is willing to talk about sex is more likely to become sexually involved, so I welcome the opportunity. Not so much now as in the past, but just discussing pheromones would often lead to sexual intimacy. Given an excuse to be sexual, via conversation, women seemed much more open to progressing beyond conversation. I suspect it might be a bit like reading a romance novel. I'm less socially active now that I'm in a small town atmosphere, which is good for me.
