Interesting First Trial Run of L2Kv.2

I thought I'd post my experiences the first couple of times using L2K. For everyone's info, I'm a straight 51 year old divorced male, short salt and pepper color hair, clean shaven, 5'8", athletic (but not terribly muscular) build, dark complexion, fairly good looking (or at least so I've been told)
First evening, 2 sprays then off to a very popular and crowded CW dance restaurant. Made my way to the bar, ordered a drink, and silently began people watching. Lots of gals passing by, no obvious attractions or eye contacts. However, within about five minutes, and out of nowhere, the woman standing next to me (50 + years old), suddenly turns to me and introduces herself. We chat, we dance a few slow tunes, I give her my number, and go about my business. Before she leaves with her girlfriend, she stops by me to say goodbye. I tell her to call me if she's interested.
During that same evening, I saw another gal (50 +) who I had briefly met at another New Years Eve event. We danced a slow tune. She appeared happy to see me. She already has my phone number.
Saw a gal (40 +) looking as if she wanted to dance, so we did a fast one. She pointed out her husband and daughter, and when I apologized, she said there was no problem, smiling and apparently enjoying the dance.
Later in the evening, I made conversation with a couple of gals, asking them why they were by themselves, to which they responded that nobody had asked them to dance. A slow dance with one of them, which she appeared to enjoy very much. I was not particularly interested, so I didn't ask for, nor give my number.
Late night I hit up a loud disco at a local casino. Very young crowd, not my type of music. But a younger Latina woman initiated conversation with me. Not my type of club or gal, so I left shortly there after.
Second evening, three sprays, then off to a speed dating event. I didn't register, figuring there would be a bunch of old, unattractive women, and I was right. Very crowded, very unorganized cluster-f**k. While standing around, I made eye contact with a woman who had registered in advance, but was having difficulty getting the data off the computer. We made small talk, and after about 20 minutes, she folded here speed dating sheet, and looked as if she was about to leave. I said, "This is a waste of time. Wanna blow this joint and get a drink?" We walked across the way, had a drink at another bar, and had a very enjoyable 1.5 hour conversation. I knew she had a long drive home, and as is my usual practice, offered her my number instead of asking for hers.
On the way to her car, I suggested we return to the speed dating venue, just to see how it was going. The place crowd had thinned out considerably, so we were able to actually make out some faces and bodies. She agreed with me that out of about 30 men and 30 women, there was only about 10% that would have been of any interest to either one of us.
I pointed out a very beautiful and young-looking black woman sitting at the bar, about whom we had both mentioned during our chat over drinks. We both agreed that she was the cream that floated to the top 10% of the crowd. At a point when she was not with a potential suitor, I said we should let her know that the both of us saw her as a "good catch", and began small talk at the bar. This lady agreed with us that the women at this event tended to be overweight and unattractive, and the men tended to be fat and bald old farts.
At that point, this lady asked if we were a part of the singles round robin, and when we said we weren't, she asked if we were together as a couple. When we explained the situation, this very lovely lady looked me in the eye and said, "If you had been a part of this, I'd be making time with you." I definitely gave her my phone number before the bell and the speed dating commenced. This is one woman I'd love to see again.
After my semi-accidental date left, I started small talk with a couple of ladies at the bar who had accompanied a third girlfriend for support in the speed dating event. Bother were very friendly and chatty, and I was particularly attracted the the tall blonde. Unfortunately, she informed me (very politely) that she had an issue dating shorter men. No problem, I gave her my number and stated that if she ever had a change of heart ...
From there, off to another country western dive bar where I knew there would be a few buddies in attendance. I stopped in and chatted a bit, but noticed I was not engaging any women in eye contact. At that point, I decided to take a chance and apply a couple more sprays. Upon returning, an older (probably 60 +) woman approached me at the bar, and we made small talk. She was not at all attractive to me, but for experimental purposes, I engaged her in conversation for about ten minutes. I then went to the restroom, and when exiting, I spotted a very attractive 50ish woman with some girlfriends. We made small talk for about five minutes, but I didn't pick up on any particular interest, so excused myself shortly thereafter.
As the band was playing, I noticed another tall and attractive woman moving to the music, obviously wanting to dance. As none of the men had yet to ask a single gal onto the dance floor, I said, "What the heck", and approached her. We immediately hit the dance floor for a fast number, which was very enjoyable to the both of us. Back at the table, she informed me that she was an out-of-town CFO of a multi-million dollar corporation, and that she was 60 years old. That was the "big fish"of the evening. Very attractive, very shapely, very young looking, very intelligent. The both of us, along with her girlfriend (notice how these women always tend to fly with a wing man) had a drink, and when it was time for them to leave, I asked if she'd like to get together before she left town. Before I could take out one of my business cards, she was jotting down her private number on one of hers. I gave her my number as well, for insurance purposes. This is the one I definitely want to see again.
From there, I went to an over 40's dance restaurant in my neighborhood, sat at the bar, and ordered a drink. Within two minutes of having arrived, a 50+ Latina woman sitting next to me asked me to dance with her. We danced a few numbers, chatted for about an hour, etc. Interestingly, while sitting there at the bar, the slender attractive woman with whom I had that five minute conversation from the previous place approached me, and stated she looked forward to seeing me again. So as not to be indiscreet, I did not offer her my phone number while sitting next to the Columbian lady, but hell, maybe I should have!
As usual, the Latina at the bar accepted my business card and promised to call on her next day off. After she left, and again, for experimental purposes, I asked an older and unattractive woman to dance, which she jumped on like white on rice.
Finally, on my way home, I stuck my head into the neighborhood "Cheers" sports bar. I went to say hello to the kareoke DJ, and before I got to finish my sentence, I was approached by a very attractive (and very drunk) blonde 30 year old French woman, who invited me to her table, along with her husband and friends. While very beautiful, this gal was obnoxiously wasted, splitting her time between making moves on half the guys in the bar, and loudly cursing and insulting the other half. She insisted in engaging me several times in private and semi-personal conversation, but I was not going to enable that type of behavior in front of another man's wife. Besides, he was a sober, fun guy who (apparently) wasn't outwardly upset at his wife's behavior. I decided to give him my number instead. Who knows, maybe they're into some alternative adult fun.
Anyway, enough of all that. In reality, I'm not hard a core bar fly at all, but felt the need to put pheromones to the true newbie trial by fire. I'd be interested in hearing some opinions. Is the stuff really working, is it the placebo effect, do I have game because I am psychologically expecting myself to have game, what modifications should I be making, etc.? I'm going to take today (Sunday) off L2K and see how I feel, and what reactions, or lack thereof, I get from others.
