Thanks for all the welcomes! I spent a good amount of time here reading yesterday. Now if I can just figure out this whole rep, thanks system. I am most familiar with the LPMP forum where they don't have any of that stuff.

Reps are intended to be used to show your appreciation for a helpful or informative post, or let them know that you felt their post was harmful or negative. And, as an indicator of how reliable information provided by that member might be. Thanks ae basically the same thing, but on a lesser level and do not increase the other persons reputation.

To rep somebody just click on the Rep Post link below their name in the post you want to rep them for. To Thank someone just click on the Thank button at the bottom of the post.

But to be honest, they are probably overused, and don't carry as much weight as they could.

When we first started the forum we used to carry over reps for members that came from pherotalk, but when we started picking up it became to much work, and I couldn't do it anymore even if I wanted to because they got a wild hair up their ass and banned me for no reason, then labeled me a commercial spammer.

Gottta say, they really hurt me with that little childish move.

One last question...do I need to be here awhile or post a certain amount of time before I start a journal thread? All of my experience is with LPMP pheromones so I could post individual review threads in the LPMP section but I thought for sake of condensation it might be easier to have an ongoing phero journal. Either way is fine, just not sure of the protocol.
