Thanks Renny! Happy Thanksgiving to you too! My roommates and some friends had a pre-thanksgiving celebration yesterday. We ordered a turducken by mail, cooked all the usual accomplices and got tons of pumpkin pie and ice cream .

I'd post the pictures, but I'm too lazy to make a flicker account right now.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

After all I have been though these past few weeks you would think I wouldnt feel thankful right now. Its the opposite though. My dads passing has reminded me of everything I am grateful for. So in the tradition of thanksgiving I will list some of those things I am thankful for just as I do every year.

I am thankful for my two sons and the amazing men they have grown up to be.

I am thankful for my husband and his quiet strength.

I am thankful for my strong family. ( mom sister and brothers etc etc )

I am thankful for the time I spent on this earth with my father and for all the things he taught me.

I am thankful I listened to what he taught me and remember it all.

I am thankful for the love and support of good friends near and far.

I am thankful for my strength of spirit that was given to me by my family and heritage.

I am thankful I opened my heart to that spirit.

I am thankful I can feel blessed even in the worst of times.

I could go on and on ..................


I hope each and everyone of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and takes the time not just to partake in the feast but to truely stop and take notice of all of all the blessings in our lives.

Whoops one more........... I am thankful Obama can only be president for 4 years I had to add that because its something my dad would find amusing.
