I started in on a glossary for the phero-wiki, but don't have time to do the whole thing myself. If others help, it will be done. Guessing that won't happen, though.

Will someone tell me what "ghosted" means? As in, "If you overdose on ___ you'll definitely be ghosted by friends and strangers alike."

I didn't see it in the above glossary.

People won't look at you or look you in the eye. Either due to intimidation or repulsion. You become like a ghost to them.

You need to have a certain amount of participation. Number of posts, time spent on the board, etc.
As I write this I'm not at that level yet either, but I am looking forward to getting there because I'm interested in the social effects of pheremones that many are keeping in their journals.

It's to make sure journals have a level of protection so the users can feel free to write whatever they want. If you could create a throwaway acount to look at journals then (for example) a co-worker could come in and see everything you've been doing at work to work the hierarchy. I'm sure you can imagine even more reasons why board users would want a protected area where only 'proven' people could see their entries.

I can't wait until I have the credentials to read the journals, there's got to be a lot of great info in them that can help a newbie like me

The information contained in the first link is so scary! Looks like females have a WMD on their hands, or rather in their genitals. How could anyone think of using molecules to change others' behavior for the betterment of their relationships?! This is gravely immoral! Not like I use pheromones or anything like that for similar purposes. Oh wait! I do! For my own benefits.

Sarcasm aside, The thought that someone can do such manipulation is truly scary. Especially when as men we have egos as big as the Sun.

Again, what you read in the first link is not true.
