A drop should be about 50 microliters in volume, with each microliter being associated with one microgram of product. So there should be only about 20 drops per mL. If not, I've been measuring everything wrong; I'll have to test this out.

I'm doing my measurements with pure PA. I fill a 1ml syrine, empty into a cup and pick it up with my pipette. I get 50 drops to a ml.

Pago tells me 40 drops per ml = 25mcg drop...

Whatever, 50, 25 or 20mcg per drop is to high for a blind test.

Ah, okay. Yeah, there should be more drops per mL with alcohol than with water (since lower viscosity = smaller drops). I didn't expect the difference to be that much though.

It should be closer to the volume per drop of water if the sample had DPG added.

37 drops with water, that give me 27.02 mcg per drop. OK guys, what is our standard so we can all be on the same page? Keep in mind that our droppers must jive too.

I don't think the size of the dropper should matter, only the surface tension, which is affected by temperature, so if you're in hot Florida your drops may be slightly smaller than mine in (currently temperate) Chicago. But I'm not sure why we're getting such different numbers...

I did some testing and determined that I was wrong before in equating viscosity with surface tension. The two appear to be unrelated, which means my numbers have been off for a while.

My tests at 71 degrees came up as such:

1 mL tap water = 20 drops even [50 mcL]

1 mL 96% ethanol = 40 drops average [25 mcL]

1 mL 96% ethanol with 10% FCO & 10% monolaurin = 40 drops average [25 mcL]

1 mL FCO = 50 drops! (I didn't expect that!) [20 mcL]

1 mL ethanol with 20% monolaurin = 40 drops [25 mcL]

I don't have DPG to test, but I expect that it will be about 40 drops per mL, or 25mcg of pheromone per drop. If someone else can test this it would be great.

I'm going to go back to some of my other posts and try to correct my math on the dosages. Need to relabel all my bottles too!

I have worn these for about 3 times, at 20mcg, 40mcg then 60mcg. I did not notice any increased attraction unlike the testers above, but I found that my conversations were fluid and smooth when I wore it at 60mcg. Like a really strong dose of anols and bnols combined.

I havnt noticed any (sexual)attraction hits either. I wear this molecule often and the effects are on par with what I reported when blind testing it during the project. I was tester #2 so my thoughts have that # next to them.
