It's an structural isomer of androstenone, with the double bond at carbon 4 instead of carbon 16 (androstenone is c16) androstenone is 5alpha-androst-16-en-3one. Molecule d is 5alpha-androst-4-en-3-one. It is most similar in character to androstenone.

Below, I've compiled the effects of this molecule as reported by our blind testers. The numbers to the right of each effect indicate the number of a blind tester. The testers are still not being revealed at this point since there are a few more molecules being tested as we speak.

To the testers: I'm going to be putting together reports for any remaining blind molecules over the next week, so if you have anything left to test or any reports left to right please get them in as quick as you can! Thanks for all your great work Smile

- Mood elevation & spontaneous smiling (#1, #2, #7)
- Increased sociability/chattiness (#1, #2)
- Increased self-confidence (#1, #7)
- Cocky, know-it-all vibe (#5)
- Reduced hand-eye or general motor coordination (#2)
- Increase feeling of physical warmth (#7)
- Relaxation and comfort (#7)

Effects on Others

- Mood elevation (#1, #2, #3)
- Increased attention & interest from women (#1, #2, #3, #7)
- Increased respect/deference from men (#3, #7)
- Increased compliance & suggestibility (#1)
- Increased sociability (#1, #2, #3, #7)
- Increased compliments on wearer's appearance (#1, #2)
- Increased ease and comfort (#2, #3)
- Increased eye contact from both sexes (#3)
- Increased emotionality in women (#7)

Additional observations

- Enhanced level of apparent familiarity (#1)
- Enhanced social status (#1, #2, #3, #7)
- Wore off after 90-120 minutes (#2, #7)
- Increased playfulness (#2)
- Space reducing (#7)

- "A nice social that gives a sexual punch for sure!" (#1)
- "If I had to name this sample I would call it 'mind control' because you could convince anyone just about anything while wearing this." (#1)
- "Like TAA on steroids.... within 15 minutes EVERYBODY in the room was laughing and having a great time.... just about every one in the room made sure they took a a couple seconds to glance over in my direction. It was almost as if they knew where the fun was coming from. Like a 'knowing nod.'" (#2)
- Effects seem to hit women harder than men (#2)

General Conclusions

Reports on this molecule were pretty well in agreement with each other. It seems to be a very social, mood enhancing, and playful molecule with some attraction and respect aspects. The best experiences occurred at doses ranging from 60-150mcg. At lower doses, social responses were occasionally more over-the-top.

Most people who tried this molecule LOVED it, with some saying it should be included in every social mix!

Chris, when you get a chance please post the name of molecules D and a store link for it! Then I'll move this thread to the public results section.

Molecule D is 4-Androstenone, a chemical hybrid of androstadienone and androstAnone.

There are very limited quantities of it left. Perhaps 30-40 mg.

Got it. So you're probably holding onto your current supply for use in your products then? Do you expect to have more anytime soon? This one sure sounds like a winner to me Smile

Wooow Big Grin Sounds like an amazing all rounder, the sexual prowess of Androstenone, the respect of Androsterone BUT tempered with its sociability.

Interesting to see that no one reported that aggressiveness or irritability, overt strong sexual responses.

Although age wasn't mentioned, going from the observations it feels like with those properties it'd be useful for attracting younger/shy women for whom -none is of limited usefulness.

Judging by the reported results, was this what you were going for when you had this one designed? Im just wondering if you had a specific effect in mind and was it close to the results the testers ended up getting? At first glance I wouldnt think the 2 molecules that were combined would have the reported effects.

Don't set boundaries, discover them.

Whenver you make a structural change to the pheromone, you can get wildly different results. To find new potential pheromones, I generally look at (this is a link).

Androstadienone is very active as a pheromone, and so is androstanone, and therefore a chemical hybrid of the two will likely be active as a pheromone. Sure enough, it is.

The best way to predict the behavior of a potential new compound, is not to look at the two parent compounds of which it is a hybrid, but rather which compound it now most closely represents. 4-androstenone is a structural isomer of, and most closely resembles 16-androstenone (your typical androstenone), and sure enough, it's effects are closely related to androstenone.

This is the basic method for identifying new potential pheromones, and predicting what effects it may have. Medicinal Chemists use this same logic when developing new medications.

As an example, Viagra was a blockbuster success. Medicinal chemists working for Bayer used structure activity relationships to create their own PDE5 inhibitor, Levitra. If you look at the chemical structure for both drugs, the only difference is a single hydrocarbon block at Nitrogen-2 (piperazine link) in A-ring. This small change allowed for Bayer to create their own, unique drug to compete with blockbuster Viagra from Pfizer.

Another example is how Eli Lilly derived Cialis from Yohimbe. They looked at the active ingredint in the herb yohimbe (used for centuries to stimulate arousal), and tweaked the molecular structure until they created something much more powerful and effective, and thus Cialis was born. Look at the chemical strucure of and then the structure of .. See a resemblance? Smile
