Great thread.
Just out of curiosity though, which scent would you guys consider as most "work-safe" (accounting, business formal, law firm, Those type of places..)?

Thinking of getting Ascend oil for the workplace so I need a scent that can:
1) Cover the ascend "smell" which everyone describes as harsh (which of the scent would best cover it)
2) a super-safe scent (nothing strong, nothing divisive). Something that wouldn't make someone go: "what the f is that smell?"
3) Something that doesn't last too long? (at least not all day long?)
It can be a real headache to keep smelling a cologne too strong and work efficiently.


I previously thought about getting the Sultan Ould but then a few people mentioned its probably not the best choice for work? (though I'l probably get it for something like Evolve)

FXS or Fresh Musk are both excellent for work in oils.

Personal leaning is towards Fresh Musk for a professional environment but both settle light, so its pretty academic and Ascend without cops has much less of an issue with smell by the end of the day.

I would wear sultans oud to work no problem. Not nobility though
