I received an email from Groupon today with a deal for Fcuk Friction (for men). I clicked it out of curiosity, and saw in the components that it has "magnetic musk." Was wondering if this is a subtle way of saying there are pheromones in the product?

The description reads:

"Notes of mandarin, green fruits, fresh lavender, black coconut, geranium, marine, cardamom, rum accord, sensual amber, leather, patchouli, and magnetic musk."

Some cologne manufacturers use pheromone-like compounds that do affect people, but nowhere nearly as strong as synthetic human pheromones. It's usually animal pheromones or plant compounds of some kind.

I just thought musk meant a smell that came from an animal. Or a synthetic smell that duplicates that.
