Just got some nice Persol frames with progressive lenses. Nice glasses but not cheap at $437 after Vision Plan coverage and discounts.

Just curious where people get their eyeglasses?

I don't really know why but with my advancing age 64 yo my eyesight just seems to be improving, possibly a better diet than when I was more youthful.

However I did spend $1.00 on a cheap pair of magnifying glasses just to read the exceedingly fine print on some products

Go to a shop, pick few eye glass frames and write them down.Call couple of shops and inquire them about their pricing for the same models.Might save couple of hundred dollars this way.
