Was this communication directly from Creed? Bummer.

I suppose it will drive me to buy flacons and probably decant the extra.

Im just addicted to that pineapple note like its crack.. all i been thinking is damn creed is now too expensive and cant decide if i should just run with it and buy 3 instead of 2 before the price increase. I can always decant later on if i lose interest in Aventus. But spraying myself before bed everday has to come to a hault.. (1spray) someone bought the fathers day atomizer with aventus in it and said it was smokey.. didnt have a batch number and as fast as the flacons sell out id hate to lose out on a smokey batch.

Its 1 aventus and 1 git
Or go all out on 2 aventus and 1 git..
Id be set for awhile.

Man you read my mind. I was actually trying to recreate aventus and ov with oils. I am hilariously inept. Anyhow, I was sitting there thinking if aventus has a single malt scotch note, a peat note it would be AWESOMEr.

Not sure if that is what you were thinking but I was like seriously wanting to spritz a layer of scotch on.

Yeah, I've noticed OV isn't really a passionate scent. I never get OMGs with it. Of the Creeds, Aventus would be my choice for that. But I think there are many other sensuals out there... Tom Ford is fun and polarizing in this area.. really too many to mention and I'm a fan of that cotton candy Mark's Girl Nip. Women love that scent but I don't really jive it... playful for me.

Fragrance net,lilly direct,or basenotes split from a person who bought it from creed boutique(has to post a picture of the bill).Ebay and amazon have too many counterfeit stuff.Got my GIT tester from Lilly direct for $135.

For your information, You can get cheap GIT clone, and even better than real GIT, by buying Tres Nuit by Armaf. And it is only 23$, look it up on amazon
I have GIT but it was too harsh for me so I sold it.
Also Club de Nuit by Armaf is a very good clone to Creed Aventus

Resurrecting this one because I'm a Creed nut.

I have Aventus, GIT, Virgin Island Water, Royal Oud, and Millesime Imperial.

Of the bunch, I like MI the best. It's a fresh aquatic and has given me the most female compliments. Virgin Island Water smells like a high end pina colada and is a great goofy fragrance to wear at a beach party. Royal Oud is straight up job interview juice. Aventus and GIT are much like others here have said, though MI definitely outdoes Aventus in the compliment department for me.

Interesting. Virgin Island was waaayyy too feminine for my bearded persona. Didn't wanna be accidentally perceived as a "bear looking for a cub". Aventus gets me many many compliments with the Latin community ladies. GIT screams Irish/Spring to me and I like it for those qualities, but it has a shorter lifespan on me.

Royal Oud and MI have definitely interested me based on the information I gathered here. It would be great to sample them on me, but none of the boutiques that I've been to will allow me to test them out. I guess I can't blame them per se. Silver Mountain Water? doesn't jibe too wel for me either, but it's not too bad after dry down. Just really light.

The sample sizes are usually $6 per but if you buy 5 samples they send you a coupon for $30 off your next purchase (as long as you aren't buying only samples). Essentially, if you buy something from them the sample pack is free.
