OK, not pheromones but something I have been working on for a couple of years now. I finally found a mint condition Rockman midi Octopus and pedal. These were the guitar stack modules designed by Tom Scholtz of Boston fame and were responsible for creating that unique Boston sound. They stopped making them back in the early 90's and perfect condition modules are getting harder to come by. This was the last piece of the puzzle for my rack and I am stoked now.

As much as I spend on my pheromone habit, it pales to my electronics, guitars and stereo addiction LOL.

Sweet Smile Yeah, between myself and my two sons we could open a music store LOL. I have been playing around with building a few lately, I have always wanted a Frankenstrat AKA Eddie Van Halen's axe but not going to pay what they are asking for production models. So, I read enough articles where he talked over the years about how he put it together from pieces of guitars, potted the single humbucker pick up and wired in a just a volume pot, and was able to create all the amazing tone without a huge rack of processing.

That is a sweet set up, I know you will enjoy endless hours with the new toys !!!!

Yes me too. Instruments are really a nice collection. I have an acoustic guitar too but not limited edition. Sad

I have recently started building my own and that has been an experience that I am not sure I will say is good or bad yet LOL. My Grandfather used to build guitars in his shop and made acoustics and electrics. He was an avid player and had a nice collection built up before he passed on stage due to cardiac arrest, at least he went out doing what he loved. Sadly my older cousins got the lions share of his axes and none of them even play. I have managed to purchase his 57 tobacco strat and his Rick from one cousin.

I have built the FrankenStrat, a Les Paul, a standard strat and a Les Paul Jr with a single cool rails humbucker.

One of the best bands ever, and always held true to their values!

How about their very earliest tunes? I've heard conflicting stories about the original demos ranging from them being from Barry Goudreau's solo pre Boston album, to the original band members playing in Tom's basement. Regardless, Boston shines through loud and clear, from the Acetate Demos of 1975 to their 2002 release of Corporate America and bringing in a female singer!

Hey Sptsmed!
Just score on 2 New Celestion Greenback 12" 25 watt 8 ohm speakers for the price of one ($125 plus shipping). One is going into my Blues Jr. and the other, who knows. Some guy brought then 6 months ago for a project and run out of gas.

Christmas comes early this year Yahoo

That was a hell of a deal, you have found some amazing grabs lately Smile I am looking around for an old SG, just have not found anything I want to jump on, but would love to add it to my collection. I am debating putting together a Tele as a project soon and running cool rails in it after they are potted. Nice pick up for sure, I know you will enjoy !!!!
