Perfumer's apprentice is a good start and has great prices. A friend favors Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs but I haven't had a chance to check them out yet.

I'd advise against New Directions Aromatics. They recently started putting something in their fragrances which doesn't agree with my health. Their old orange oil was great and I worked my way through something like a 4 oz bottle of concentrated dark sweet orange oil. Their new stuff is different, somehow. Their scents smell nice, but leave me feeling sick. And their customer service is absolute garbage.

If you are looking for blends Love Potion can't be beat. I personally don't enjoy BPAL as much. Too obscure.

I'm looking for cologne inspired oils, like Creed scents for example.

Check out or . The prices at Hayward are a little cheaper but very good. The Fragrance Shop Fragrances are extremely high quality but you pay for it.

If you are looking for a Green Irish Tweed knock off, check out where a few stores make a spot on replication of it. Just type in men's cologne and whatever scent you are looking for.

Any opinion on Hayward's Cologne Sprays? Apparently I've learned the cologne sprays have better silage than the oil's. I am looking for good silage.

Hey Snoop - I saw some of my favorite designer perfumes are being copied in 100% oil instead of the puny Eau de Parfum percentages at The Fragrance Shop - so thanks for the tip. I ordered a bunch of Designer Mini's of my favorite designer fragrances - I've been wearing nothing but Love Potion's for years but someone went by me the other day with my long time love Jessica McClintock the other day and I thought - if that came in oil - I'd wear it...and lo and behold the Fragrance Shop had it...YAY! Great tip...

Yes - exactly. Without the alcohol - in cologne or the various other formats - 100% oil evaporates in a consistent fashion over hours. It can take a while to warm up on skin and start going - but once going - it's going - sometimes for 10 - 16 hours.

Eau de Parfume - the most expensive of what you will get at the department store - is typically around 12% oil. So getting something from Snoop's Fragrance Shoppe - that is the same size (albeit a knock off) in 100% oil for about 25% less - than what I'd pay at the department store for the Eau de Parfume was AWESOME.

The stronger Mones really need 100% oil whenever possible for cover. And Steve O's benefit from it for sure...

There was a little 4 pack of designer samples - you could do a men's 4 pack of your favorite mens fragrances in 100% oil...and give them a try...be willing to bet the cover is a million times better than what ya'll have been playing with. Just remember - even though I say cover - if it's 100% oil - it goes on the skin first - Mone's last. You still want the Mone's to diffuse....
