I'm not the only one who thought that was weird. So if it was me, I would be hoping that you cling onto another okcupid guy or loose interest since I'm not interested in you anyway.

Or if you wait it out atleast itll be an easy fck.

3 to 4 weeks is the killer. That's just screaming to leave me alone. In my eyes anyway.

So what's another issue besides being nervous? Why cling onto this guy for do long?

I think TheLaw mentioned that if you ain't dating in a few days move on? Maybe I'm wrong.

Thank you guys for your advice!! I am definitely on guard with this guy and will not let him into my bed anytime soon. However, I still want to try and turn the tables on him so that he chases me for a while. I'm hoping Pheromones will help. Is that evil of me?

If I had felt good about the date and he had said that, I would've said have a nice life. But as I've mentioned before, I've never EVER been even slightly nervous on a first date, and I've sure as hell never felt like I totally misrepresented myself on a first date. And the thought of having ruined something simply because I psyched myself out is just killing me.

It's not a magic spell but if Snoopyace suggested gotcha then that would be what I try.

It's not evil at all.

Do you know how to get him to chase you?

Additionally, I'm asking for phero advice because I know that it's harder to come back after being friend-zoned rather than starting at a neutral, so I wanted to achieve a sort of re-set next time around.

Umm, just live my life and don't hound him with texts/wanting to hang out, etc?

I'm just blabbering. Dont worry about it. Next time I'm sure you wont be nervous.

Im just at work bored.
I dont know either. So I'll learn as I read peoples replies. I was just trying to picture the whole picture in my head of what played out and what happened.

My idea of a date and getting a lady to chase me was. Feel this and I put her hand on my .... well the rest was history.

On a different note, this guy is a lot like me, and I'm very conflict-avoidant. I don't know if a man would do this, but if I was in his situation, I could see myself wanting to give him the 3-4 weeks with the intention of later saying something like "aww, I would've loved to still go on that date, but I've started seeing someone else." I know, I know it's terrible, and I try my best never to do it anymore, but I can see how someone would want to do it. Do guys do that sort of shit?

All is fair in love and war.

I don't think so. Men don't typically think that far ahead. My female best friend thinks like that interestingly and she thinks guys do that too. I told her also that I don't think guys think like that. Guy are more outcome oriented.

We have a winner!!!

Sounds like he has other options, and will probably take them (rightfully so), but the real story here is you. Perhaps every aspect of this date was not necessarily unprecedented.Big boss
