I've tried everything. You should buy a natural soap bar made from olive oil.Don't waste your time with harsh soaps or any liquid soap. This is by far the best.Combine it with a light moisturizer like that to avoid dryness and irritation.
If this is excessive and it bothers you a lot you could do a full isotretinoin treatment even if you don't have acne.

They've done studies you know...60% of the time, it works every time

I have tried everything under the sun. Since my teen years, I have had some of the worst acne.

Two soaps that have worked for me :

( Currently what I am using and have watched my face clear up a lot. )

( used this for many years with success )

The key for oily skin is not to pull the oil from your skin with harsh soaps.

I would recommend Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser. It's deep cleansing but not harsh on the skin. It's pricey but you don't need to use much for a wash.

I use a rough soap so cannot recommend , what I can recommend is 75 mg of zinc WITH food ( trust me !) A day for a week and see how your face will feel.

I always had oily skin with acne and this had made a world of difference . You can thanks me later .

( On acne websites when they discuss remedies for oily skin / acne this was at the top , for a reason )

Going to a dermatologist and getting a cleaner is the best. Cetaphil is pretty decent too.Only down side is not natural or organic.

I find that a good toner and facial lotion program has a better effect on controlling oily skin versus the actual soap I’ve used.

I use and recommend the Anthony Logistics products. Pricey but work well.

This might sound weird or crazy, but I just use warm water. It works for me. My skin used to get really oily throughout the day, sometimes after only an hour or two after using a cleanser.

After I started using only water, my face doesn't get oily as quickly and I only get the occasional white head or two.

Results may vary, though, just as they do with mones.

It doesn't sound weird or crazy, instictively you're doing right with your method.
The skin produces a fat called lipid (aka sebum) in order to protect itself from drying out, several rays and toxic substances. The more you wash it off with aggressive substances like soap (in the morning or during the day) the more it produces the protective sebum layer, that's exactly how skin functions.

Many years ago I had the same issues with my skin and since my dermatologist recommended to just use lukewarm water in the morning and a moisturising scentfree liquid soap in the evening the problem was solved within one month.
But you need to be patient because the skin needs time to adapt. It also depends on your skin type how quick you will notice results.
You can support the process by using lukewarm camomile tee for your face wash in the morning. Camomile works wonder with irritated skin.
