While shopping around for a decent price on the formula I ended doing a little digging here is an article I found on IGF-1, I thought it was interesting to say the least. If those of you who use the formula have time to read it, I would like to know your thoughts.

interesting. while i was reading around for articles of antler velvet i remember reading some article talking about igf1 in antler velvet. what this article said was that the levels of igf1 in antler velvet are very low and that antler velvet is a cocktail of nutrients and vitamins. So I don't really see any hazard or danger in using antler velvet since the igf1 levels are so low.

I read somewhere else that Deer Antler Velvet may share some of the same risk factors, but I'm not sure how credible that source was. Certainly not as credible as Harvard news... And on that note claims that it has "Anti-Cancer and Anti-Inflammatory properties".... One thing that I liked about the article though is that somewhere in the article it talked about using IGF-1 excessively. You know what they say, "Too much of a good thing..."

My whole deal is that I need a supplement that can both help me keep my stomach flat and build muscle at the same time and fast, because I'm too busy and driving all over the place all the time to be in the gym all the time like I used to. When folks here started talking about IGF-1 I was blown away, then my 'research' led me to posting this in hopes that maybe someone a little more knowledgeable could shed some light ultimately steering me in a good direction for my inevitable purchase.

yea i know what your talking about I like to make sure what i take doesn't harm my body
but why if the Chinese have been using it for so long they haven't seen this...

I just finished my first bottle a week ago and noticed that while taking it, it would increase my metabolism so i would eat a bit more.

I have a paper i received with my bottle i'll upload it soon and i'm also going to post a thread on getting some antler velvet at a good price maybe check it out if your still interested.

This day and age anything can cause cancer if you set the parameters of your research to allow it. I too am one that tends to read a lot about anything that I take, but honestly I would not be surprised if one day copulins are found to cause cancer LOL. I think the best you can do is read, do your own research, way the evidence and decide what is best for you.

Copulins causing cancer lol! That's a funny situation for us red-blooded males! Ouch! But yeah I agree with you, it's best to keep reading into things finding whatever information that you can. In light of that I'm leaning more toward the Deer Velvet as it seems it's a little more beneficial overall, but then again that could just be a case of limited information on it.
