I have a dropper bottle of AV, ordered from LAL and I noticed that the scent escapes the bottle.I have it in a bag with all my other products and it's the only scent in there.No liquid leaks when I turn it upside down.Should I be worried?Does this happen to anyone else?

Are you able to tighten down the dropper? If not, might be a good time to buy a new dropper top. These things LOVE to come loose when tightening and refuse to tighten properly again. Happened to my tincture dropper bottles, and I've been extra careful with my mone bottles.

I had the same. I was able to smell the AV from outside the envelope. I read somewhere that this is the reason why the AV gets weaker over time because the mones are evaporating.

The top of every dropper bottle I got from LAL would become unscrewed over time. I ended up putting them all in empty eurodroppers I had laying around after a bottle of NA leaked everywhere. That's why I only get their stuff in eurodroppers now.

Mine is a bulb dropper. It doesn't leak or something, but I can always smell the scent from outside the bottle. And I think there already have been other people posting this problem somewhere on PT.

My AV bottle is a roll-on ball. I don't smell its scent when its closed.
Maybe thats why its roll on ball comes in standard.

I don't think that they seal completely so that would explain the smell. And after being used for a while they start not staying closed/leaking. I could smell my bottle of Possess with the bottle closed even before it started to leak.

That's bad news.I'm gonna transfer it to new bottle.Does anyone have any idea if or how much does this weaken the product?It's been 5 months in it.

Two of my bottle tops have broken, and they either stay too loose and scent and maybe product leaks out, OR they have to be squeezed SO tight they break. I wrote Garry a bit PO'd about this, here's his reply it seems relevant to the thread so I'll post for all:

"The bottles and tops come from the same supplier they are made to go together. I would not try to mix and match bottles and caps, things are hard enough with them made by the same company. To be honest I hate the bulb droppers I would like to do away with them and wish people would stop asking for them. We sometimes go six months without a single broken cap reported then we have them every day. We have found none that don't unscrew because the rubber is the seal and it just does not work well with the oils. Which makes people over tighten them and fracture the upper area. We have some brands that won't fracture but all unscrew or leak. The euros work well and dispense well but many people just don't get how they work, so they don't like them."

So, for now, I purchased a bunch of replacement glass bulb droppers somewhat cheap from Amazon here: for all of you guys who have the same issue.

Aside from that, I may switch to eurodroppers soon. We'll see I prefer the preciseness of bulbs so maybe just stock up on tons of replacements for when you squeeze too tightly and they break.
