Heya fellow forumers,

I've just recently written a short little program that periodically checks if a certain product is available in the Androtics store. If it is, the program will send out an e-mail. I was a little tired to check the store time and time again only to see that the MX or P I was waiting for was still not available (or already sold out because I was a day late). The notification function of the store still doesn't work properly and if I understood a post by Steve correctly, it isn't supposed to work and probably won't work for quite a while...

So... I've already added Pago to the list. If you want to be on that list too, I'd need a working email address and a list of products that you want to be notified about (PMs are welcome if you don't want to post the mail address on the forum). The program is set to run every 2 hours (thanks to the cron jobs in linux), but of course only when my computer is running. But I can assure you that the program will run at least once per day. If one of your products is becoming available again, you will receive an email by the 'Androtics Store Watcher' with the product name, available bottles and a link to the store page of the product. If you want I can remove you from the list at any time.

Btw, not sure if this is the best place to post this - but I didn't see any better place.

I'd like to try that. There was one that someone posted about in the PT forum, but I'm a bit technologically challenged sometimes, and I couldn't get it to work, I think I did it wrong.

I don't think this would work. The website not only changes when there's something newly in stock, but also if a new review is written or the reviewed product in the right frame changes (which does that all the time). So you would receive emails constantly, and not only when there's some change that actually interests you...

Aaah, yepp that way it would still show up when reviews are added, but I guess that won't happen too often. Good alternative!

Yepp, worked fine. I've sent a test mail with Instant Shine as product, and another one by hand... I hope they arrived!

The notifier works nice

P83 came back in stock and little time later i had an e-mail....

cool thing ... heheheh
