Alchemy of a PUA

Chapter 1
The alchemy of conversing with humans was researched many years ago, and it hasn't changed all that much since much.
The world of sales has been doing it for centuries and it applies here because your essentially selling yourself.
Reading Neil Strauss's books I kept thinking "what's the big deal here", much more detail and depth can be found in many sales/business/negotiating manuals.
Granted they don't contain bullshit stories and party tricks, but does a real PUA really need them?
Do you really have to spin a ton of BS just to get a women to talk to you?
You may as well shell a few dollars for an escort.
My answer to that is "Hell no!".
And the best books to read are:
"How to win friends and influence people"
"Official Guide to Success Book"
"How to master the art of selling"
And everything by Alan Pease.

Start learning to be a real success, not a BS one, from the experts.
One thing women love is success, and the attitude of success.

In 1898 E. St. Elmo Lewis took what came before him and came up with the AIDA model for sales & marketing:
Attention
Interest
Desire
Action
If your selling yourself as a prospective partner, a fridge or whatever else, the principle does not change because it's worked for hundreds of years.

Very good Pheroman, Goota love Dale Carnegie! How To Win Friends was the first book I read when I got into sales and I can't tell you how much I learned from that book.

A lot of people don't realize it, but you're dead on: books on sales, communication and self-improvement directly carry over to the art of meeting and picking up women. After all, every approach and every conversation we ever have is a sales transaction: we are trying to sell ourselves to another person, or our thoughts on whatever is being discussed.

Tommy Hopkins is another great author and Secrets Of Closing The Sale is another great read.

In the end, your legacy should be what you've accomplished and what you left behind, not what battles you fought and who you drove into the dust.

I can second Carnegie's book. It is a great resource and could shed some light on how to approach things if they are unclear to you. You may even find things that you thought were helpful but are actually not, corrected. Sorry I'm a little hung over so I'm not that articulate right now. Smile But I think you get the point.

I can also second books by Pease, I read a book on body language a long time ago and it has been invaluable to me. Most importantly the sections on how different cultures can have very different meanings behind similar looking postures/movements.

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma... which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
