I saw Styx play with the Contemporary Youth Orchestra of Cleveland on TV awhile back and was blown away!

Well, that concert is now out on Blue Ray so I bought the disk and just watched it again and I'm still amazed.  The Orchestra consists of 171 kids ranging in age from 13 to 19 years old, and to see them rocking out to the music that I grew up with over 30 years ago just blows me away.

Here's the best rendition of the Beatle's "Walrus" you will ever hear!


And how about a few more?  Damn, watch these kids go!

Oh wow, the pure ENERGY in the Walrus video is awesome! You don't see that in modern rock any more, and whatever energy DOES come out seems to be rage, anger, and all around negativity. Everyone, from the band members, the kids, and even the conductor were having a blast, and it was a blast watching it! Thanks for posting those, Mark!

I dug this thread out of the graveyard from 3 years ago, but I'm sure most members have never seen it, and I wanted everyone to have a chance to see it, because even though I've watched the videos probably 100 times now, I'm still blown away everytime I watch them, and that these kids are playing to music that came out before any of them were born, and probably true for a number of their parents as well, and that they get into as much as they do is just amazing to me.
